LeanCalc provides free, web-based tools to help users estimate fitness and nutrition-related values, including daily calorie needs, macronutrient breakdowns, projected weight changes over time, BMI, total daily energy expenditure (TDEE), water intake, and related educational content. The Site is offered for general information and convenience.
No account is required to use the calculators. We do not charge fees for use of the core calculators described on the Site at this time.
The Site and all outputs are for informational purposes only. This tool does not provide medical or professional health advice. Nothing on the Site is a diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or recommendation for any medical condition. The calculators process information you enter locally in your browser. LeanCalc does not operate a public forum for user-generated content. If we add features that accept submissions (for example feedback forms), you grant us a licence to use that content to operate and improve the Site, and you represent that you have the rights to provide it.
The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (except open-source or third-party components), is owned by LeanCalc or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use in line with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Site except as permitted by law.
The Site may link to or integrate third-party services (for example analytics, advertising, or fonts). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEANCALC AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SITE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY), OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeanCalc and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws. You agree that courts located in the United States have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction where they cannot be waived by contract.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
